I 50 migliori pasti economici a Huntington Beach (2024)

Located at the Huntington Beach Pier, Duke's Restaurant and Barefoot Bar is a long-standing stalwart that serves authentic Hawaiian seafood in a casual space with ocean views. Honoring the legend Duke Kahanamoku, the restaurant boasts a traditional beach house ambiance and style. Offering both lunch and dinner menus, the establishment features both a main dining area and relaxed beachside bar.

Met up with friends at Dukes, it's a great place for lunch or dinner. We met for lunch, the hostess was warm & friendly. Although we had reservations, there was a bit of a wait because it was pretty busy, We were seated with a view of the beach. Although it was blocked because of all the tents due to the US Open Surf competition, again, not a problem because I was there to catch up with friends and after lunch we could walk out to the pier or beach.Food: Excellent, had Caesar Salad with grilled salmon, my friends got different sandwiches with friesAmbiance: Casual and modern. Feels airy and open.Service: Excellent, our server was attentive, friendly and professional, she noticed gift bags & that we were celebrating something so she brought us a hula pie, super yummy and delicious ice cream pie.Pricing: $76 for 3 lunch, 1 beverage, 2 watersParking: Valet for $9 for 3 hours, after 3 hours it's $25

I stopped here for lunch today. The views are amazing. When I mentioned that this was my first visit, they seated me at a table next to the window overlooking the beach. Because the regular fish and chips were quite large, I asked if I could order the smaller children's portion. The server was super nice and said yes. I also ordered a special "zero-proof" drink called a "The Volcano" (coconut and strawberry blended drink). It was delicious! I had planned on ordering the key-lime pie for dessert, but after the drink I felt like I had already had dessert. I'll have to try the pie next time. :) The only minor complaint I have is that the breading on the fish was a little thick for my taste. I prefer thin and crispy breading on my fish and chips. Other than that, the experience was wonderful.

The atmosphere would be a lot better if it wasn't so brightly lit. They do not know how to make a margarita. We have some appetizers which were very good but they failed when it came to order the prime rib it was busy was not late and they were out we drove all the way from far just to have prime rib. It's pricey but not ridiculous the prime rib dinner is $40 if they have it. We paid for drinks and appetizers and went somewhere else. I complement the manager because she was sympathetic and gave us a gift certificate to try them again in the future.

Enjoyed lunch here right on by the pier. Very comfortable atmosphere. Waitress was very attentive & wonderful. Food was delicious. I enjoyed the Mango Burger & a Black Salt & Tajin rimmed Bloody Mary with my meal. It was phenomenal.

Had dinner around 6:30pm on a Wednesday evening. Immediately seated for party of 5. Good service, great views. Didn't get a chance to snap pics of my family's meals but they ordered halibut, a burger, and the fish steamed in banana leaves. They all raved about their dishes. I ordered the ribs & chicken plate as pictured. Macaroni salad was good, the ribs were great, but the chicken was a little dry. Overall, it's a great place to try at least once with great views.

Spent a few days in Huntington Beach, chose this restaurant for its oceanfront location. The food was phenomenal. Had Ace Pineapple Cider to drink, deliciously fresh fish tacos, and the most decadent macadamia nut ice cream cake for dessert. Enjoyed it so much I came back 2 days later and ordered the exact same thing! It’s like a mini Hawaiian getaway and a real treat for your tastebuds!

We stopped in for a quick late night dinner, and the service was great. Our server was on point with recommendations and was very attentive. I loved how chill the environment felt with soft, low lighting and a great view of the beach! I also loved that the restaurant was located right at the beginning of the peer, so we didn't have to walk very far with our kids. They had a fun coloring activity booklet for our kids to stay entertained and had great choices for them to choose from as well. Would definitely come back!

My wife and I had an outstanding dinner at Duke’s last night! Exceeded our expectations in every way. First of all, the service, from our server, Michael, was one of the best experiences ever. He really delivered unbeatable service. He had great knowledge of the menu, was extremely personable, guided us through all the options, was VERY flexible with any modifications we requested, and did it all with a smile. I mean, I felt the service was genuinely warm and welcoming. It’s not that often that a restaurant’s service is MEMORABLY good, but it sure was here. Then there’s the food. WOW. Honestly, I was a little worried that because of its location, it would be a tourist trap with mediocre food and just one of the places with a great view and not much more. Nothing could be further from the truth. We were were on a Thursday night (and by the way, returning tomorrow night BECAUSE it was such a great experience) and they had some awesome surf and turf options, and we opted for New York Steak and Lobster Tail. But we substituted the scallion fried rice for the side dish. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium well, as we’d requested, was absolutely delicious, and the lobster tail was also excellent. Sometimes you get a skimpy little tail that isn’t even that tasty. Nope again, this was a good sized lobster tail, with succulent meat and the standard drawn butter. Another hit. Then there’s the scallion fried rice - wow, I wasn’t expecting it to be THAT good, but it really was. Absolutely delicious.Oh, and we started with a shrimp cocktail appetizer, and not only were the shrimp a good size and very flavorful, but the slaw served aside the shrimp just blew me away, I LOVED it! And Michael noticed and brought us some additional slaw with the entrees. AND they recognized our special wedding anniversary with the signature awesome Hula Pie (which is not to be missed and must be shared).Ambiance was great, of course, excellent view of the ocean and pier. Hawaiian theme really shone through without being over the top.But as good as the food, service, and ambiance were, there were several additional details that I took notice of, which really pleased us. They didn’t charge us a split plate fee. They substituted the scallion fried rice (I know I mentioned that) for the regular side dish, but let’s start with the fact that the entrees actually came WITH a side dish in the first place. You know how many restaurants - even fancy high-end steakhouses - don’t include a side dish with your $80 steak (which obviously really irks me)? A lot. Not Duke’s, though. Also, every staff member I encountered whenever I left or returned to my table greeted me with a smile, and they thanked us on our way out. We left feeling very satisfied and very pleased, on a day where a lot of things went wrong for us prior to arrival at Duke’s, and Duke’s turned it all around with an amazing dining experience we’ll never forget.

Fantastic beach lunch spot! Sometimes you go to a beach front diner and you’re captivated by the location and the food is mediocre…this is not the case with Dukes! The staff were absolutely amazing and had prompt service. Drake our server was a phenomenal server and made sure our drinks stayed full and gave great recommendations (Crab Wontons and Dukes Mai Tai). The food was delicious, and properly portioned for a lunch. The Huli Huli Chicken was absolutely grilled to perfection and was delicious. The fish tacos were also fantastic and seemed very fresh. The Crab Wontons were a great appetizer but just realize they will be fresh out the fryer when they hit the table 😂 as my daughter found out. If you like a strong tasty rum cocktail, highly suggest Dukes Mai Tai. All the food came to table quickly and were well presented as you can see in the photo. My wife had the salad and she’s rarely impressed by salads but she has several dietary restrictions and she was completely blown away with the Mango BBQ Chicken salad. If you’re in Huntington for a day, couldn’t give a higher recommendation for Dukes, and it comes with a beautiful view of beach. Will return if we travel back to Huntington Beach.

We visited Huntington Beach to join friends for a birthday celebration. We never skip Dukes for dinner, because the food is so good. It's not cheap, but really worth it to treat yourselves. Our favorite dish is the Herb Crusted Mahi, however, everything is delicious. The wine selection is okay, but we usually pay the $15 corkage fee and bring our own bottle. The view here is beautiful and right on the Huntington Pier. The service is phenomenal with very speedy service. Enjoy...

What a beautiful place with splendid food! The service was wonderful, too.We made 2 reservations because we had a large group. They were kind enough to put our 2 tables close together so we could still mingle and pay mostly together. My food was delicious! I didn't ask a ton about our other 10+ people, but everyone seemed happy. The space is absolutely gorgeous! It's right on the beach with the perfect views of the pier and waves.I loved it!

Lunch here was delicious ! Ahi tuna bowl was so fresh and flavorful. Mahi tacos were also so fresh and yummy! Burgers were plentiful and yummy! The Hula pie was the icing on the cake ! Loved our last lunch of vacation here. View of the pier was so beautiful from our table.

I would have given 5 stars but I was expecting a Mac salad truly authentic to island style Mac salad and what I got was literally store bought/out of the bucket tasting and looking deli Mac salad. If I brought you all my island Mac salad recipe I can almost guarantee you it would blow yours away and is authentic to the island style salad, and fits the Duke's theme 🌺Overall though, our server's were awesome and all the other food was so good. Please take the Mac salad off the menu. It is so subpar to everything else on the menu and just doesn't fit in.Mahalo to all for making my husband's birthday a great and memorable one!

An imaginary atmosphere and a distinctive and strategic location overlooking the ocean. 🔴Note: Reservations must be made before going to the restaurant. The food was a unique experience. The chef's interest in presenting American dishes in a distinctive way. I recommend the restaurant

Outside looks like it needs some paint but Once inside, you are greeted by 6 host/hostesses and quickly whisked away to a seat overlooking the beach.Walking through the restaurant, you see the beautiful woodwork and decorations. It feels like you are back in Hawaii based on the Aloha shirts and fans.Service was quick and friendly. But the food, was a disappointment. It is small portions and the fish was rubbery and tasted like it was frozen.I would pass on this place next time.

Come for the food, stay for the views. Good, tasty and ample Hawaiian-style food. Fun atmosphere. The loco moco was very tasty and pretty authentic. The lobster Benedict was delicious, I mean you had me at butter poached lobster! The Hula pie was enormous. A table of 8 shared it.

Great location and the food was good but it's all about the location. If you are lucky enough to get a water view for seating, it's worth it. The food was average nothing special or anything to go out of my way and order and then go to as the food destination. But the location and views are worth a million bucks! Service was adequate as nobody checked back with us to see if all was good. Service was a little slow. It's $9 to valet park the first three hours. The calamari was tasty. The fish tacos were average. The chips were not great. The Tina seared bowl was good but again nothing special. It's really the location and views! We also were not told there was a different menu for the bar area which is where we sat compared to the main dining area. We had limited choices. That was very disappointing.

I loved it! Great little beachside eats giving beach bar vibes. The taco Tuesday special was very affordable, and the tacos were delicious! The service was amazing and the margaritas were good too!

Excellent ocean view experience for a large party. Top-notch food and service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Korean sticky ribs were excellent.Don't forget to order the hula cake for dessert, it's worth it.

Dukes is simply a favorite of ours! Whether on the Islands, or now here in Huntington Beach, it’s a consistently great atmosphere, menu, and quality food and cocktails! The view of the Pier is fantastic and we loved feeling like we were on the Islands with the live music, hula dance performance, the Island vibe! We will always choose Dukes if we can!

A random decision while walking down at Huntington Beach. I wasn't even hungry. You have to go at least once to say, " I've been to Duke's" and we are not going to Hawaii any time soon. We sat at a window seat. The food was good, speciality selections recommended by our waiter. You're paying for the experience. So realize it isn't cheap.

Our server was very personable & attentive. The food was delicious, views were incredible & drinks were done well. We visited for a birthday & were given a free dessert that was big enough to share between 4 of us. Highly recommend paying Dukes a visit! Pictured: Shrimp Scampi, chicken/rib plate & prime rib.

My friend and I celebrated our anniversary at Duke's Huntington Beach last night, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The oceanfront views were simply breathtaking, especially as we watched the sunset over the beach while sipping flavorful cocktails. The food was outstanding across the board. I opted for the vegan ravioli, which was bursting with fresh flavors and had the most decadent ginger cream sauce. My partner's fish and lobster entree looked equally divine and was thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared an order of the charred brussels sprouts as a side, which were perfectly caramelized and seasoned. What really made the night special was the warm hospitality and attentive service we received. Our server offered excellent recommendations and timed the courses perfectly for a leisurely, celebratory pace.Of course, no anniversary is complete without dessert, and the indulgent ice cream chocolate treat we shared was heavenly - rich, decadent, and the ideal sweet ending to an incredible meal.Duke's truly went above and beyond to create a memorable evening for our special occasion. The ambiance, the views, the food - everything exceeded our expectations. We'll certainly be back to make more fantastic memories overlooking the beautiful Huntington Beach shoreline.

I love Dukes. I've been to the San Diego and Hawaii locations and am happy I was able to visit the Hunnington Beach Location. I stopped by with my girlfriends, and we had a drink on the patio. Our server, Andi, was awesome. She was so sweet and kind. We had the Coconut Shrimp and Hula Pie. Delcious!!!! Can't wait to visit again.

I stopped in for a cocktail at sunset. It was a beautiful location right next to the pier. There was live music, and the overall atmosphere was great. Our server was extremely nice, even when someone I was with kept complaining and sending things back 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Had the coconut shrimp appetizer which was yummy, but the cucumbers that come on the side were actually so good. You guys should literally turn them into an appetizer of their own.

We visited Duke’s for Brunch I got hummus plate, which was so delicious and tasted so wonderful, the fresh crusted coconut French toast with berries was the bomb!! Finally, I ordered the Hawaiian plate: macadamia crusted fish came with Hawaiian style macaroni and delicious white rice and slaw. Although I only ate half of what I ordered, I was so happy I ordered all 3 plates, the French toast was my dessert and I can’t wait to return to Duke’s Huntington Beach. 🥂 Cheers

Large resturant with beautiful views. We sat outside. Staff and servers were very attentive.Best calamari I’ve ever had. No rings! Fish and chips need few more minutes in the fryer. Black bean nachos are vegetarian and full of flavor. Korean ribs fav for the meat eaters.Key lime was good

We are new to the area about one hour from here. This was our first time in Huntington beach and at Duke's. We came for my husbands 74th birthday. It was perfect The food was amazing and they treated the birthday boy with the best sundae ever. We also want to thank our amazing server, Drew, he was so kind and helpful. Thanks Drew for making this birthday lunch special.

A must Try!I recently dined at Duke’s Huntington Beach and ordered the avocado bacon burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was phenomenal! The avocado added a creamy texture that complemented the crispy bacon perfectly. The sweet potato fries were a delightful side, crisp and flavorful. The beachside atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better.Highly recommend!

Fantastic location. Yummy food. Fish tacos just so-so. Mac-n-Cheese is excellent. Expensive drinks. Clean bathrooms. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Valet parking is very reasonable considering the other parking structures downtown. View is one of the best in Huntington Beach.

Nice place to visit if you're traveling through Huntington Beach. The lunch hours and crowd is more fun and scenic with the surf and volleyball near by. It's a good restaurant, but it is very expensive. If you order the calamari, it is not a shareable amount, and does not come with lemon. The main dishes are worth the price. Duke's Blone Ale is great, and so are the Mai Tai's.Again, go for lunch and tacos, you'll have a better Duke's experience than an evening dinner.

Everything was great! Our food was awesome, including the desserts (a must order!). The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the view was amazing too.

Great food and wonderful service. Taco Tuesday was well worth it. We had grilled fish and Kalua pork tacos. Yummy stuff, and we were in and out to the farmers market in under 30 minutes! Awesome tacos, freshly made tortilla chips and salsa.

Dining at Duke’s Huntington Beach is an experience that transcends the ordinary and elevates your expectations of coastal cuisine. Having dined at both the Huntington Beach and Malibu locations, I can confidently say that the Huntington Beach Duke’s stands out as my favorite. The moment you step in, you're greeted with an ambiance that perfectly captures the relaxed yet vibrant spirit of the beach. One dish that absolutely stole the show was the coconut lychee rice. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the sweetness of the lychee complementing the rich, creamy coconut in a way that was nothing short of extraordinary. I found myself wishing I could get my hands on the recipe to recreate this magic at home. Our waiter added a delightful twist to our evening with his hilarious anecdotes and charming personality, making the dining experience not just about the food, but about the entire atmosphere of hospitality and warmth. Every member of the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, contributing to an overall stunning hospitality experience.A word to the wise: make sure to reserve your table in advance. The popularity of Duke’s is well-deserved, and the line can be quite long if you don’t plan ahead. Trust me, the wait is worth it, but avoiding it altogether with a reservation will make your visit even smoother. The pièce de résistance of the evening was the breathtaking ocean sunset view. Situated right on the beach, Duke’s offers a panoramic vista that’s perfect for ending a day by the sea. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while enjoying a fantastic meal was simply to die for. It's the kind of view that makes you pause and appreciate the beauty of nature, providing a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. In conclusion, Duke’s Huntington Beach is a must-visit. Whether you're winding down after a fun-filled beach day or looking for the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion, this place checks all the boxes. From the delectable dishes to the impeccable service and stunning views, Duke’s offers a dining experience that’s truly unmatched. Highly recommended!
